Sacred Space is the new Renaissance. I believe it is the recognition
of God-given and God-inspired creativity. Many within the greater body of Messiah are now embracing a long ignored facet of
just who we are. Made in the likeness of the Great Creator, it is a given that we would burn to be creative ourselves. All
children draw – and love it . . . somewhere frustration defeats them.
To me, "Sacred Space" is just that . .
. space set aside for the Spirit of God to give us hearts that dream again . . . to put a pen, brush, camera, etc., to paper
and see what we can do. Sacred Space is to break out of our leaden-eyed daze and let our feet dance, grab a banner or flag
and beat the air in wild thanksgiving to God for who He is.
Sacred Space is celebration of color for the sake of color. Sacred Space allows us to see with eternal
eyes the wonders revealed to those who love him:
“No eye has seen, No ear has heard, No mind has conceived what God has prepared for those
who love Him- But, God has revealed it to us by His Spirit . . . The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of
God.” (1 Cor. 2:9)
Today, I am dwelling in the Sacred Space for all my creative inspiration.
